S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl Coming to PlayStation 5 on November 20

As of August 21, 2025, GSC Game World and 4Divinity announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl will launch for the PlayStation 5 (including an enhanced PlayStation 5 Pro edition) on November 20, 2025. Although arriving exactly one year after the PC and Xbox Series X|S versions, the PlayStation 5 editions includes several enhanced features worth mentioning.

With a launch date officially confirmed, fans of the acclaimed survival-horror franchise can prepare to explore the Chornobyl on PlayStation 5 with platform-specific enhancements and exclusive pre-order bonuses.

Enhancements and Features

When booting up S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl on the PlayStation 5, the game has been optimised to take advantage of the console’s hardware. Players can find that it has been optimised for Adaptive Triggers and Haptic Feedback support, Gyro Aiming, DualSense intergration (speakers, lightbar, and touchpad), Tempest 3D Audio and PlayStation Trophies. Not to mention, playing on the PS5 Pro includes additional visual upgrades like improved resolution and higher-quality shadows, enhanced global illumination, higher-quality reflections, improved volumetric fog, and enhanced volumetric cloud rendering.
