Revived Witch is celebrating its 100 day milestone with a game dev documentary! Produced by Yostar Games and PixelNeko, the “Untold Story Behind Revived Witch” documentary can be viewed below.
The pixel art RPG has since managed to garner more than 1 million downloads, not bad for a team starting out as a group of fellow game enthusiasts who were building a game from scratch. Their love and passion for pixel games and desire to create a game that would resonate with players has certainly shined through, enabling this indie dev team to push through all the uncertainty and challenges.
PixelNeko’s drive is reminsicent of Yostar Games’ own back in 2014, with a similarly small group of gamers in a small office, working hard for the things they loved as the foundation of what Yostar Games is today. The teams have come together to show you their commitment, perseverance and love for games in this documentary to show their appreciation for all the support you, the players, have given them over this time.

Revived Witch is an adventure RPG game that combines both 2D dynamic pixel art and 3D lighting. You play as a young witch who enters a mysterious tower and travels across various worlds to fulfill her destiny. You’ll meet many companions with different personalities and fight with them against powerful enemies on your journey.
