After years of anticipation, the upcoming horror movie Return to Silent Hill finally has a release date.

The film is an adaptation of Silent Hill 2, widely considered one of the most iconic entries in Konami’s legendary survival horror series. Directed by Christophe Gans, who also helmed the 2006 Silent Hill movie, Return to Silent Hill promises a faithful yet modern retelling of the psychological nightmare that has haunted gamers for decades.
It follows James (Jeremy Irvine), a man broken after his relationship with the love of his life, Mary (Hannah Emily Anderson), ends. When a mysterious letter from her calls him back to Silent Hill, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil. As he searches for her, James descends into a chilling world filled with twisted creatures, including Pyramid Head, and begins to unravel the mystery of what happened to the town.
