Rejoice Ragnorak Online fans! As Ragnarok Online is making a comeback in Malaysia and Singapore, the official has held a launch event at Publika Mall yesterday. As expected, the event has received overwhelmed response from the fans (even under the heavy rain).
The event reaches its climax when the publisher, Electronics Extreme finally announces something that we have been eagerly waiting for – the beta launch dates. Here are the details:
- Closed Beta – 27 to 29 November (data wipe)
- Open Beta – 30 November (no data wipe)

Also, a few talks from the developer – Gravity and the publisher – Electronics Extreme mentioned that the relaunch version of Ragnarok Online will be “free-to-play” and “free-to-win”, suggesting that no premium in-game item is purchasable (with cash) in the game.
Fans of Ragnarok Online will probably aware that bot players were one of the most troubling issues in the past and to solve this issue, the publisher stated that they have developed a powerful anti-cheat tool for the game.
