Japan-based English Virtual Youtubing agency – PRISM Project is now currently opening up Vtuber Auditions, this time it’s open for all genders.

Those who are interested in trying out for the auditions can do so by checking out the audition website here. Stated in the application form, the auditions for PRISM Project is open to a list of countries: United States, Canada, Peru, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil and Japan.

Audition Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

• Applicants of all gender identities are welcome.

• Successful applicants must be able to conduct their streaming content primarily in English. Japanese and other language skills are welcome.

• Applicants must reside in one of the following countries/regions stated.

• Applicants must be able to participate in the audition process from initial document submission and screening to final interviews.

• If selected, applicants must be able to commit to conducting virtual talent activities for a minimum of one  year, with an expected minimum of four live streams per week.

• Applicants should have a strong desire to further their careers as professional virtual talents, to pursue streaming as virtual YouTubers (VTubers), and have interest in pursuing other related talent activities under a professional management team with industry-leading experience.

Applicants won’t have to worry about creating or designing their own avatars as PRISM Project will have you covered. The agency will also provide technical and equipment support to ensure that their talents will be able to stream in the best possible conditions.

Being partnered with Sony Music Entertainment Japan, those who goes through with the PRISM Project auditions will be signed to Sony Music talent management contracts. Talents will also be helped with music and live performances, merchandising, voice acting as well as other career goals which helps the talents achieve their dreams of being a professional.

PRISM Project was first introduced back in 2021 with the debut of the first generation of talents consisting of Hoshifuri Iku, Tokimori Aoi and Ibuki Meno. All previous PRISM Project Talents who debut are all female so this auditions will be the first time that they will be looking for the possible inclusion of male talents.
