Pre-registration for Disgaea RPG opens in Japan

After much deliberation, Nippon Ichi Software and ForwardWorks has officially titled its upcoming mobile adaptation of Disgaea as simply Disgaea RPG. In addition, pre-registration for the game has been opened. Players will be rewarded the “Fallen Angel Flonne (Three Stars)” as a reward should there be 20,000 signups.

The official website also briefly provided an overview for Disgaea RPG. Protagonists from all Disgaea games will converge in this game as part of an original story where only one will become the Ultimate Overlord. Takehito Harada makes his return as character designer as you would expect.

The battle system for the mobile adaptation has been fine-tuned accordingly, with the inclusion of an auto-play function. Like its predecessors, you will be able to level your characters to absurd levels in order to deal insane amounts of damage. The release date for Disgaea RPG has yet to be announced.
