At Pokemon Presents, Pokemon Go received a few news updates: namely the pending arrival of Mega Evolution, and Victini’s appearance!
Pokemon Go Fest 2020 will be a completely virtual event this year as previously reported. The game itself will be rolling out updates so that people can continue to play from home, presumably even after the COVID-19 pandemic has blown off. The ability to raid remotely, carry more gifts and daily bonus research is in the works.
Besides Victini, Mega Evolution has been teased to come to Pokemon Go, with mechanics that take advantage of the title’s unique gameplay. It is teased for sometime in 2020.
Last but not least, Galarian Far’fetched is also available to obtain in the game, so go get your own leek warrior!
