POCO has announced their latest F5 series of phones, being the POCO F5 Pro and POCO F5 which are now available in Malaysia as of 9th May, with the starting price of MYR 1,699.

The POCO F5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as well as featuring a WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay. Meanwhile, the POCO F5 comes packing with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor.

POCO F5 Pro

The POCO F5 Pro comes with the WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with features 1400 nits peak brightness and 68 billion true-to-life colours. The phone is also equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which operates at low power consumption while maintaining high performance. Additionally, it comes with the LiquidCool Technology 2.0 which improves performance by dissipating heat efficiently, as well as extending the lifespan of the device and its battery.

Boasting a high definition output and a P3 colour gamut that is 25% larger than sRGB, the POCO F5 Pro’s camera is able to produce photos and videos with hyperclarity. The phone also supports 8K video shooting, while OIS and EIS ensures for video stability.

Last but not least, the F5 Pro has a 5160mAh battery life and offers a handful of multiple fast charging methods. The 30W wireless charger is able to charge up your phone to 50% within 30 minutes, while the 67W turbo charging technology can do just about the same in 15 minutes.

POCO F5

The POCO F5 features the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with an Antutu score which is 31% higher than the previous generation. The phone is also equipped with LiquidCool Technology 2.0 which is able to absorb heat generated, overall improving heat dissipation by 35%.

It comes with a 6.67-inch 120Hz Flow AMOLED DotDisplay and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4% which makes browsing videos an immersive experience, as well as providing comfort thanks to the 1920Hz PWM dimming and SGS-certified Low Blue Light Ex eye care.

The F5 has a 64MP main camera setup which also has advanced camera processing system that is supported by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. The F5 supports 4K video shooting, with OIS and EIS support, along with a fast charging time thanks to its 67W turbo charging, bringing power back up to 100% within 50 minutes.

POCO F5 Pro comes in Black and White colour options, and can be purchased exclusively on the POCO official store on Lazada from 9th May onwards. Coming out on the same time, the POCO F5 comes in three colours options in White, Blue, and Black, which is exclusively available on the official POCO Shopee store. Pricing details are as follows:
