The qualifying stage of the 2019 PUBG Mobile Malaysia National Championship (PMNC)– of which has been running since April 2019, has come to a close. The qualifying stage of the tournament, which had qualifiers held across six states throughout Malaysia, saw many intense matches and ‘bloodshed’.
Now, as the curtain draws on the qualifying stage, 12 powerhouse teams fought their way to the top and emerged victorious.
Selangor: Unbeatable Gaming, AXIS MPX
Sabah: Tambadau Squad, Extreme Squad
Kuala Lumpur: Traitor Esport, VAT Esport
Penang: Panda Northern, RMC
Johor: AKA Esports, X77 l KGU Brothers
Sarawak: Miri Mob, Kingsman Gaming
The PMNC Grand Finals, which will take place on the 13th and 14th of July this year at Quill City Mall, will see respective teams going neck to neck against one another and determine who walks away with the title of 2019 PMNC Champion and a bulk of the RM114,000.00 prize pool.
Oliver Ye, PUBG Mobile Director of Southeast Asia said, “PMNC 2019 is a new milestone for the PUBG Mobile e-sport scene here in Malaysia. PUBG mobile has succeeded in bringing a spirit of sportsmanship, providing positive experience for players to establish friendships with other players from around the world.” Adding on, he says that the national championship is open to all players that share an enthusiasm for PUBG Mobile and the e-sports scene, and that these tournaments helps identify talented players with great potential.
The 2019 PMNC Grand Finals is going to be excitement-packed, and filled with festivities– with 2 days of jam packed PUBG action, goodie bags, lucky draws, giveaways, and demonstration matches by prominent Malaysian PUBG figures, one can be assured that there will be great fun at every turn.
