PlatinumGames and DeNA are working together on a new RPG titled simply World of Demons, which will be out for the Android and iOS platforms. Via IGN, we are given a glimpse of the gameplay below:
World of Demonshas players taking on the roles of characters who go by the name of Onimaru and Sayo, each with their own distinct playstyle. Onimaru has a balanced and straightforward playstyle while Sayo has a longer reach and is much agiler, but at the cost of lower defence.
To aid battles, you will be able to summon from a pool of 80 yokai, and this is where the game monetises, as you will get these yokai through gacha. In addition to assisting in battle, the yokai can be fused to upgrade weapons. On top of a campaign mode, there will be the inclusion of PVP. World of Demonsis scheduled for a release in Summer 2018.
