Persona 5: The Phantom X was created through a partnership between Atlus’ P-Studio and Chinese developer Black Wing Games. The game introduces players to a new main character named Wonder, a high school student at Kokatsu Academy whose life changes when he meets Lufel, a mysterious owl-like creature. Together, they work to understand why society is losing its motivation and drive.
The game keeps the classic Persona gameplay that fans expect. Players can enjoy turn-based combat, explore dungeons, manage their daily schedule, and build relationships with other characters. Activities include taking part-time jobs, joining school clubs, strengthening Personas, and improving social stats while following a brand new storyline.

While The Phantom X features an entirely new group of Phantom Thieves, fans of the original Persona 5 won’t be left out. Popular characters from the main game, including Joker, Ann Takamaki, and Ryuji Sakamoto, will appear through special in-game contracts.
