Publisher Chorus Worldwide has announced that Paper Ghost Stories: Third Eye Open will release on September 5 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam. They originally announced the second game in the Paper Ghost Stories Anthology in 2022.
Chorus Worldwide CEO Shintaro Kanaoya expressed in a press release, “When we first encountered Cellar Vault Games’s short game, Paper Ghost Stories: 7PM, we were instantly captivated by their vision. It’s been a joy collaborating with them to realize Paper Ghost Stories: Third Eye Open, which significantly expands on the ambition and scope of 7PM. The game delivers a poignant family drama told in a distinctive Southeast Asian style that is both authentic and unique.”
