Palworld players are getting a big surprise this June. The popular survival game is teaming up with Terraria for a special update called Tides of Terraria, which goes live on June 25.
Developer Pocketpair shared the news along with an animated trailer showing Palworld characters exploring dungeons and getting their hands on Terraria’s famous Terra Blade weapon. The trailer also features scary enemies like the Eye of Cthulhu and hints at the Moon Lord boss fight.

This isn’t just a small add-on – it’s being called a major update. Players will be able to capture and train monsters from Terraria, treating them just like regular Pals. The collaboration brings together two worlds that have millions of fans. Terraria has been hugely successful, selling over 60 million copies around the world. Now its creatures and weapons are making their way into Palworld’s open world.
The update includes more than just the Terraria crossover content. Players can also expect new Pals to discover and new islands to explore. Pocketpair says they’ll be sharing more details about what’s coming over the next few weeks on their social media pages. For anyone who hasn’t jumped into Palworld yet, there’s good timing here. The game is currently 25% off on both Steam and PlayStation Store while the hype builds for the update.
Palworld launched in Early Access and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC through Steam and Microsoft Store. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also play it at no extra cost. The Tides of Terraria update launches June 25 for all platforms.
