From DMM Games and DBROS is OVE Generation, a new side-scrolling tactical battle game which will launch 16 January 2020! Probably no one would ever say there’s not enough cute girls, so here’s more of them in this new mobile game for iOS and Android.

The basic conceit puts you in a world where an apparent war has long since ended, for a long era of peace. However, a new calamity has occured, and the world needs warriors to fight back. Only girls are able to become the titular “OVE”s, and thus are put into service. The gameplay preview is reminiscent of similar games like Princess Connect: ReDive!. The design is certainly futuristic, to reflect its storyline. Art wise, the girls have clothing damage sprites if that interests you more.

While you have the regular “stage clear” mode, there will also be modes where you will be pitted against continuous waves of enemies. There is another mode which is OVE‘s version of tower defense as well. The girls have their own unique activatable skills of course.

The game achieved 150,000 pre-registrations, providing enough currency for a 10-pull in gacha.
