As announced with the newest gameplay trailer for NSR / NO STRAIGHT ROADS, the game will also be arriving for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One at the same time as the PC and PS4 versions on 30 June 2020, with additional details regarding the releases.
The Nintendo Switch version of the title will be including various features, designed to take advantage of the console’s unique functionality, including:
- Exclusive Assist Mode – Partner up with an additional local player to take control of the Elliegator, a secret alligator assistant who can help players in battle by picking up items, transforming props and calling in useful bonuses.
- 3-Player Co-Op – Played in conjunction with the game’s co-op mode, Assist Mode lets up to three local players experience No Straight Roads’ music-based action together, only on Nintendo Switch.
- Touchscreen Support – Use the Nintendo Switch system’s touchscreen to transform props and pick up items.
- Single Nintendo Switch Joy-Con™Controller Play – Play through the entire game using a single Joy-Con, or pass the second Joy-Con to a friend to play in couch co-op.
The announced Collector’s Edition will also be made available for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4. Contents include:
- Exclusive double-sided vinyl LP with game OST
- 64-page ‘The Art of NSR’ artbook
- Official NSR drumsticks
- Funky presentation box
Directed by Wan Hazmer, lead game designer of Final Fantasy XV, and Daim Dziauddin, concept artist of Street Fighter V, No Straight Roads is an action-adventure game that mashes together rhythm-infused combat with a vibrant offbeat world and a killer soundtrack.

NSR can be pre-ordered at retail stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia for PS4, Xbox One and PC, while Nintendo Switch retailers can be found here.
The game will feature full voice localisation in English, Spanish, French and Japanese. Text languages include English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portugese, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional.
