NIKKE Maid Cafe Erupts Across The SEA Community As Part of Half Anniversary Celebrations

The NIKKE community has been celebrating the game’s half-anniversary in a rather interesting way- with maid cafe themed events based on the popular mobile game.

All this month, countries across SEA like Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines will be running limited-time NIKKE Maid cafes, bringing popular cosplayers to dress up and take photos with fans.

Fans in The Philippines in particular might want to clear their schedules, with a NIKKE maid cafe coming in on May 20th and 21st, and will be held at Wiltlover Cafe at Circuit Makati.

It’s worth noting that this cafe is organized by representatives from NIKKE itself- with the official page promoting the event.

Meanwhile, Malaysia and Singapore appear to have taken a more grassroots approach, with a local fan group (NIKKE: The Goddess of Victory MY/SG.) having organized the event.

That being said, the Malaysia event sported plenty of banners advertising the game’s half-anniversary event, so the lack of official communication could just be down to the fact unlike NIKKE’s Philippines community, there isn’t an official community page for Malaysia and Singapore.

We’d also reached out to the organizers of the event for clarification, but received no response.

Malaysia’s maid cafe was held at Frank Laurent Coffee Roasters in PJ, and featured two weekends of Cosplayer service, games and merch giveaways, while Singapore’s event was held at Aurora Asian Kitchen & Bar at Aperia Mall.

They featured a high-profile guest list with cosplayers like Ying Tze for the Malaysia branch, and DJHaruHaruka for Singapore.
