Next Tales of Remastered Announcement Coming August 19

Bandai Namco has confirmed that the next Tales of Remastered title will be revealed on August 19, 2025, at 10 PM MYT.

While some fans speculated it could be a Gamescom surprise, the announcement will actually take place beforehand in a dedicated broadcast.

Rumours of Tales of Xillia Remaster

Although the official reveal is only coming out tonight, rumours and speculations are saying that Tales of Xillia might be the title to be ported into new-gen gameplay.

Released in 2011 for Japan and 2013 worldwide on PlayStation 3, Tales of Xillia remains one of the few entries never ported to other platforms. Its unique dual-protagonist system, allowing players to follow the story through either Jude or Milla’s perspective, made it a standout in the series.

This has fueled strong speculation that Tales of Xillia Remaster is indeed the game being announced. A remaster would not only modernize visuals and performance but also make the game more accessible to new audiences. However, it’s unclear whether Tales of Xillia 2, its darker, more controversial sequel, will be included in the package.
