That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: The Saga of How the Demon Lord and Dragon Founded a Nation is an upcoming Tensura mobile game. Unlike Tensura: King of Monsters, which is a Chinese game that first released in Taiwan, the new project is a Japanese title.

The game was first announced over the weekend during AnimeJapan 2021. During the online event, it was revealed that WFS is developing the game. You may recognise the company as the studio behind other mobile titles like DanMachi Memoria Freese and Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space. Remarkably, Bandai Namco picked up the game as its publisher.

While it is unknown if the game features gacha elements, it does contain base building mechanics. Battles appear to take place in 3D and the player can also move around town in 3rd person.

The schedule for beta testing will release later in the near future. While it is uncertain when is the exact release date for the game, it will come out later this year. As for an English release, we can only keep our fingers crossed. However, considering the popularity of the Tensura IP and the fact that WFS does release its mobile titles in English, the chances are high.
