New Doctor Who Game Coming To Apple Arcade

Apple has announced that Doctor Who: An Unlikely Heist will be coming to Apple Arcade This April.

It is one of four games coming to the platform this month, with the others consisting of Summon Quest, Crownsweeper, and Great Mountain Adventure+.

Doctor Who: An Unlikely Heist

April 7th

The highlight of Apple Arcade for April has to be Doctor Who: An Unlikely Heist. Developed by Tilting Point in partnership with the BBC, this is a new adventure starring the 13th Doctor and her companions. It combines quest games, detective work, and science fiction. This game is different from other puzzle games as players find hidden objects within the Doctor Who universe. The graphics combine hyper-realistic and cartoon-like styles, mini-games, and events, players must keep their brains alert to find small clues and solve the big mysteries.

Summon Quest

April 21st

Developed by Team17 USA, Summon Quest has you take on the role of a powerful summoner tasked with closing a rift that has unleashed hordes of monsters onto the world. It’s up to the player to heal this rift and save the planet. The game includes a magical world, and fighting through different regions. Each region features unique enemies, challenges, and bosses for ultimate rewards.

Cornsweeper

April 28th

Wbuttr’s Cornsweeper is a reimagining of the beloved logic puzzle game Minesweeper. Players pop delicious popcorn and avoid explosions, all set to a relaxing and original lo-fi-inspired soundtrack. The music is influenced by Wbuttr’s Jamaican cultural heritage and features reggae and Jamaican Patois (the local dialect).

Grand Moutain Adventure+

April 28th

Made by ToppLuva AB, this game has you explore entire mountains in an open-world skiing and snowboarding adventure. Land the biggest cliff drops in the backcountry, freeride down a steep chute, or just explore the vast ski resorts. Featuring seven huge open-world mountains to explore and multiplayer with up to 16 players, players have the absolute freedom to ski and snowboard wherever and however, they want.
