In a new trailer, the studio showed off more of the mecha in the anime, although it didn’t show any of the series main characters. Fans were treated, however, to the sight of Muv Luv Alternative’s 3d mechs.
The Muv Luv Alternative release date is set for October, although a more concrete release date has yet to be announced.
The anime also announced its production line-up, which is as follows:
- Director: Yukio Nishimoto
- Series Organizer: Tatsuhiko Urahata
- Character Designer: Takuya Tani
- Music: Evan Call
- Animation Production: Flagship Line, Yumeta Company x Graphinica
- Takeru Shirogane (voiced by Kouichi Kamiki)
- Sumika Kagami (voiced by Tomori Kusunoki)

This isn’t the only new mecha anime set to come out this year, as Bandai’s new mecha IP was also set to release this year as well.
Muv Luv Project MIKHAIL
In addition, they also showed off more details about the upcoming Muv Luv Project MIKHAIL, the new game coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in August. According to SiliconEra, the game would not include any gacha elements or loot boxes, and would have its own progression system.
You’ll be able to pilot your own mecha, fighting off enemies known as BETA. In the recent Producer update, they showed off more of the action RPG spin-off of the Muv Luv series, which has its roots more in visual novels.
