Minecraft Earth is Microsoft’s Minecraft AR project

Microsoft has just showcased Minecraft Earth, its Minecraft AR project that is coming to the Android and iOS platforms.

The teaser gives us a sneak peek into what to expect from it, and from the look of it, you are able to share your creations and obtain a new perspective on them including the creations of other people.

Minecraft mobs are present here, and you will be able to breed various variants for your own builds. You will also be able to create together before taking your builds to the next level. The game is free to play and it will launch for smartphones that are AR compatible.

Minecraft Earth is scheduled for a release in summer, although you are able to sign up for the closed beta to get a small taste of the game. More information available at the official site!
