The newest Mobile Game in the SNK run and gun Metal Slug series, Metal Slug Commander is releasing today.
Developed by SNK Hong Kong, Metal Slug Commander sees the series regulars, Marco, Fio, Eri, and Tarma once again go up against the evil General Morden and his Rebel Army.
This time however they also have to contend against three more armies, the Revolution Army, Space Army, and Desert army. Each with their own leaders vying for power.
Meta Slug Commander is an RPG with gacha Mechanics allowing you to pull for more troops to continue waging war against the opposing armies.
The game maintains the classic cartoon-like sprites from the classic Neo-Geo games along with adding new ones for the new characters.
This isn’t the only new Metal Slug game coming out, Metal Slug Tactics a strategy game spin-off will be coming to PC and Switch. The series will also be getting a stage based after it in The King of Fighters XV.
Hopefully, all this attention will eventually lead to a new mainline Metal Slug game or at least getting a playable character in KOFXV. Make it happen SNK!
