French Bread has announced the release date for Melty Blood Type Lumina, the follow up to the cult-classic fighting game based on Tsukihime.
The release date for Melty Blood Type Lumina was announced via a new trailer, which also shows off more gameplay for the characters, as well as the new art style. The game releases September 30th, 2021 on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
As we’d seen in the prior teaser the game has dropped its pixel-art style in favor of a hand-drawn sprite look, sharing a look with French Bread’s other fighting game, the Under Night series.
The announcement was shared by Yoshinori Ono, who had recently moved to Delightworks, the game’s publisher.
