Amazing Seasun Games has revealed that the open beta test for Mecha BREAK will launch on February 23 at 2:00 a.m. PT / 5:00 a.m. ET for PC and Xbox Series X|S. This beta phase promises to deliver the most comprehensive preview of the mech shooter ahead of its anticipated spring 2025 release.
The beta will feature three distinct game modes, including the returning 3v3 Ace Arena and 6v6 Operation VERGE from previous tests, alongside a new tactical co-op PvPvE mode called “Mashmak.” Set in the Mashmak Isles, this new mode challenges players to compete for control of Corite, a volatile inorganic material that can trigger destructive pulse storms.

Players participating in the Global Storm beta will have access to an extensive range of features planned for the full release, including the opening tutorial, character and mech customization options, an explorable space station, training facilities, and a roster of 13 different mechs. Cross-play functionality will be enabled between Xbox and PC platforms, with both Steam and Windows via Xbox app versions supporting cross-save capabilities.
The development team has confirmed their collaboration with Xbox to ensure smooth cross-platform features at launch. However, PlayStation 5 users will need to wait until later for their chance to experience the game, as Mecha BREAK maintains console exclusivity on Xbox Series X|S at launch.
