Square Enix and Marvel have just announced their partnership to work on the games under The Avengers. The project will be overseen by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal.
We will only be hearing more about the game and projects related to the franchise in 2018, however. We can only speculate what kind of genre the game will be, although given the pedigree of the development studios mentioned, we are going to hazard a guess and say that it could be a third person action game, perhaps set in a semi-open world environment.
It is anyone’s guess who the core lineup will be
