After getting announced that Marvel Rivals will be coming to consoles during PlayStation’s State of Play presentation, we now have a date for the closed beta test. Marvel Rivals is an upcoming free-to-play superhero team-based PvP shooter that will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The sign-ups for consoles will start on July 23, 2024 and PC will be having it earlier on July 20, 2024. The closed beta phase will end on August 5, 2024.
Previously, it was only revealed that they will be having the closed beta testing in July 2024 with no dates announced. Marvel Rivals is developed and published by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games.

For console players, you will need to fill in a form. After doing so, remember to keep checking your e-mail to see if you’ve been chosen as one of the lucky few to test out the game before its full release. For PC users, you will have to log in to Steam and click on ‘Request Access’ under ‘Join Marvel Rivals Playtest’ to participate.
The Marvel Rivals closed beta will allow you to play in 4 maps which are: Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path, Yggsard: Royal Palace, Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya and the latest addition being Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands. You’ll be able to choose from a list of iconic heroes to play as such as Hulk, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Loki, Doctor Strange and many more. Three modes will be made available: Convoy, Domination, and Convergence.
