Just earlier this week, the closed beta for Mario Kart Tour started. As expected, details of the game began to unravel with screenshots posted onto the internet.
According to Nintendo Wire, the game has a diverse roster of characters. Around 30 of them, in fact. Besides that, it seems that certain characters will gain bonuses/boosts for specific maps. An example that was quoted is Luigi getting more items in the Luigi’s Mansion circuit.
A number of race playable race tracks were also revealed, among them options like the classic SNES Mario Circuit 1 and N64 Koopa Troopa Beach.

Depending on how this closed beta fares, the open beta for Mario Kart Tour could follow really soon. We’ll post an update when we spot any new announcements so make sure to stay tuned!
