Commander Masters, the latest set of Magic: The Gathering and the first Masters set tied explicitly to the card game’s most played format, Commander will be launching next week on August 4, 2023.

The new set will consist of 40 new cards and reprints of beloved cards designed for the multiplayer format.

The Commander Masters set will also feature new collectible versions of beloved cards with the unique Borderless Frame Break style where artwork is described to “explode out of the card”.

Particular rare cards will also receive the etched and textured foil treatments for collection.

Furthermore, a series of Legendary creatures will also get alternate artwork with Borderless Profile.

All Borderless cards will be available in every type of booster pack, making them one of the most accessible Masters set for collectors.

Additionally, the set will launch with 4 preconstructed 100-card Commander decks for players to get a head start and will be the first in MTG to feature popular classic archetypes built in.

All 4 of the preconstructed decks will consist of 10 new cards, a foil-etched Commander, and many more powerful cards than what players are used to.

The Commanders Masters set will be available as Draft Boosters, Set Boosters, Collector Boosters, and Commander Decks.

Magic: the Gathering, Commander Masters will be released on August 4, 2023, for tabletop at selected game stores and online retailers.
