Streamer and VTuber Kson from Vshojo had recently won the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Grand Prix contest, where she will be appearing in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon 8.

Kson won against four fellow competitors to be featured in the spin-off game as well as the eighth installment in the mainline series game. The contest begun with auditions and the finalists were selected back in February 2023. All five of the contestants will be in Like a Dragon Gaiden, while Kson will appear in both of the previously mentioned games with a fully fledged in-game 3D model.
Along with winning a prize money of 1 Million Yen (~ 7127 USD), Kson will be modelled in game as a hostess for both games, as well as appearing in several promotional materials regarding the games.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be releasing sometime in 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. While Like a Dragon 8 will release in 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, the exact release date for both the titles has yet to be confirmed as of time of writing.
