The last time we saw a Tokimeki Memorial game was in 2014, and fast forward three years into the future, we now have a new entry in the series, but not quite. Konami has just announced Tokimeki Idol, an idol communication game where you will help 15 students of a music institute to achieve their dreams.
Tokimeki Idol is predicated on the concept of gaining a “Tokimeki” from spending everyday with the girls, as they work to become idols. Little else is known about the game right now, although interestingly enough, a portion of the game supports mobile VR.
As we head towards Tokyo Game Show 2017, Konami will be showcasing more of Tokimeki Idol at its booth on 24 September 2017, where both developers and voice actresses will be present for the announcement. If you are interested, pre-registration for the game is now live.
