City builder Kingdomtopia: The Idle King launches today. The game is available on Android and iOS devices.
The game has you playing as the lazy son of a late king, now tasked with rebuilding the city. The city has various sectors that need rebuilding, such as seaports and farms. Over time you can also recruit mayors to help oversee the city, helping you better generate passive income in the game.
Kingdomtopia: The Idle King has a charming cast of anthropomorphic animals, and boasts a story mode, too. Though the late king dies at the start of the game, he’s still available to give you advice in the form of a ghost. He also gives players access to powerful family heirlooms.
It’s not all reconstruction, though. The game has sequences where you can fight off invaders by tapping them to beat them up. On top of that, the game also reflects your upgrades with cool visual changes.
After living peacefully for years, Kingdomtopia, a medieval animal kingdom is invaded by an unknown enemy. This war left the entire kingdom in ruins and even led the death of the King.
Along with your trusted advisor, Pug, play as a fledgling new king to rebuild your father’s kingdom back to its glory days. Restore districts, renovate and expand your empire to bring peace and prosperity to your loyal citizens.
Honor your father’s last (and current) wishes after his passing to help grow your wealth exponentially with heirlooms. Show the world that the “Idle King” title is not earned by simply doing nothing… but successfully managing the kingdom itself!
