Iron Saga Gurren Lagann Event Comes To EN

The Iron Saga Gurren Lagann Event is finally coming to EN servers, after debuting in the Japanese version of the game several months prior.

The collaboration starts December 1st, and was announced via the official Iron Saga EN Twitter.

If it’s anything like the Japanese event, it will be a development-type event, where players will need to farm resources to develop mechs from the iconic anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Event rewards include pilots Simon and Nia , two characters from the same anime. On the mech side, you’ll also be able to get “Yoko M Tank”, as well as the titular mecha Gurren Lagann and Lazenngan.

The English Iron Saga Twitter Account is also having a retweet campaign to promote the upcoming event. After surpassing 200 retweets, all EN players will receive 2000 gems in-game to celebrate the Iron Saga Gurren Lagann event.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is a popular Super Robot anime produced by Studio Gainax, the same studio behind Neon Genesis Evangelion. The studio later split into several studios, among them being the prolific Studio TRIGGER.

The JP server for Iron Saga had also recently received a collaboration with Studio TRIGGER anime SSSS.Gridman, the studio’s homage to Tokusatsu show Gridman.
