Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation is officially headed to Nintendo Switch in Asia both physically and digitally this Fall, as announced by eastasiasoft. The Switch version will feature English and Traditional Chinese subtitles, along with English and Japanese voiceovers, ensuring accessibility for a wider audience.

Originally released on PlayStation Vita and later remade for PC, this version brings the beloved third entry of the Re;Birth trilogy to handheld consoles once more.

Limited Physical Editions with Collector’s Goodies

Fans looking for a physical copy of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation can pre-order it via Play-Asia starting August 8 at 11:00 p.m. MYT. Only 2,000 Limited Editions will be produced, priced at MYR 280 (USD $59.99).

This edition includes the game, a soundtrack CD, an art book, a manual, Joy-Con stickers, a mini case, acrylic standees, and a numbered certificate, all packed in a special collector’s box. A Standard Edition will also be available for MYR 186 (USD $39.99).

A Retro Quest to Save a Lost Dimension

Set in an alternate late-’80s version of Gamindustri, Neptune finds herself pulled into another dimension where she must gather Shares to escape. However, an evil group known as the Seven Sages seeks to eliminate all CPUs — and Neptune is next.

This remake includes all previously released extras, complete with the series’ signature humor, fourth-wall-breaking moments, and revamped combat features. Players will encounter both classic and new characters, assemble custom attack combos with up to five moves, and shape gameplay using the Plan system.

Also returning is Stella’s Dungeon, now expanded to allow support characters during dungeon runs.

PlayStation Release Still Scheduled, Western Switch Version Canceled

While the Switch trilogy was once expected to launch in the West, plans were canceled due to non-compliance with Nintendo’s guidelines. However, PlayStation 4 versions of Re;Birth1, Re;Birth2, and Re;Birth3 will still release physically and digitally in the West on September 30, 2025.

Meanwhile, eastasiasoft confirmed plans to bring Re;Birth1 and Re;Birth2 to Switch in Asia — making Re;Birth3 the final piece of the puzzle.

You can pre-order Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation for Nintendo Switch through Play-Asia’s official store starting August 7. The game will be available in Limited and Standard Editions. The digital version will also launch via the Nintendo eShop in Asia this Fall.
