Aniplex, Akatsuki Games, and Blast Edge Games have officially launched their joint project, HYKE: Northern Light(s), now available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5. The release went live on September 19 at 10:00 AM JST / 9:00 AM MYT, marking the start of the next big adventure for action RPG fans.
To celebrate the launch, players can enjoy a 10% discount on Steam and the My Nintendo Store until October 3, 2025. A brand-new story-focused trailer has also been released, offering a deeper look at the world and characters.
Special Launch Event
To further mark the occasion, Isekaijoucho, the artist behind the theme song “Silhouette feat. Isekaijoucho”, will host a live gameplay stream at 8:00 PM JST / 7:00 PM MYT. Fans can not only watch gameplay but also experience the music that defines HYKE’s atmosphere.
A Dark and Mysterious Story
Set in a world devastated by war between humans and witches, HYKE: Northern Light(s) follows Hyke, a white-haired girl on a journey shaped by her mother’s legacy as a witch. Her path leads her into the Forbidden Areas, unexplored lands guarded by the enigmatic witches known as Meteos. What begins as a search for truth soon evolves into a battle for destiny.

HYKE: Northern Light(s) launched worldwide on September 18, 2025 (PDT) / September 19, 2025 (MYT), priced at $27.99 USD (RM132). This 2D top-down action RPG is now available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5, supporting multiple languages including Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Dutch, and Brazilian Portuguese.
