HoYoverse and KFC have unveiled details regarding their collaboration for mobile turn-based RPG Honkai Star Rail.
As revealed on the official Honkai Star Rail Weibo post, the collaboration event with KFC will start on 22 September 2023 where multiple surprises such as meal sets and co-branded theme stores will be available for fans.
At the moment, the Honkai Star Rail and KFC collaboration will only be available in China and no official announcements have been made for any plans in other countries.
The collaboration was initially announced on 18 August 2023, and details for the events are currently available.
Special Meal Sets
Starting on 22 September 2023, fans who purchased the Honkai Star Rail Pom-Pom Tasty Bucket will receive commemorative merchandise that contains a set of tickets, a cup set, and a redemption code for in-game items.
The Honkai Star Rail Pom-Pom Tasty Bucket will be available only after users log in to the KFC WOW membership application or through the self-service order.
The redeemable in-game items as part of the KFC collaboration event will include a “Gourmet Pom-Pom” avatar and “Train Conductor Pom-Pom” special smartphone wallpaper, as well as other cosmetics to customize the players’ Honkai Star Rail account.
Open for reservation starting on 22 September 2023, players who purchased the Honkai Star Rail Pom-Pom Tasty Bucket at designated themed stores will also receive a collab straw with 2 models in total, issued at random.
Within 48 hours after the order is completed, the redemption code will be automatically deposited into the user’s KFC WOW member application.
During the collaboration events, there will be 254 themed KFC restaurants across China starting from 27 September 2023 to 20 October 2023. The free gifts will only be available while stocks last.

In addition to the details of the collaboration, the official Honkai Star Rail Weibo is also holding a lucky draw contest.
On the 27th of September, 2023, users who retweeted this Weibo post will be eligible for the lucky draw where 5 lucky winners will be randomly selected to receive 100 Chinese Yuan in cash each.
