HoYoverse has announced that Honkai Impact 3rd will be receiving its 6.9 version update, featuring Miracle ☆ Magical Girl Sirin, and a crossover event with the racing anime movie PROMARE.

The version 6.9 update for Honkai Impact 3rd, Cutting Dreams at Dawn, features Miracle ☆ Magical Girl Sirin and the collaboration event with PROMARE will be available starting on 14 September 2023.

Miracle ☆ Magical Girl Battlesuit

The new S-rank battlesuit for Sirin is Miracle ☆ Magical Girl, a MECH-type Fire DMG dealer who uses a chakram as her weapon.

In battle, Sirin can alter forms of her chakram into scissors while simultaneously restoring Starry Faith that reduces DMG taken and sustaining her Iron Body state.

Additionally, Sirin is also able to cast different Joint Weapon Skills, inflicting Fire DMG and applying Ignite Trauma to enemies she hit.

When casting her Ultimate, Miracle ☆ Magical Girl Sirin summons an illusory space that traps her enemies, then follows with a cut of her scissors that shreds the space and deals Fire DMG to all enemies within.

PROMARE 

Following the update, Honkai Impact 3rd will also be releasing the crossover collaboration event with the racing animated film, PROMARE.

The PROMARE crossover will feature 2 new collab outfits, one for Chrono Navi Ai and another for Herrscher of Flamescion Kiana.

The special collab outfit for Chrono Navi Ai is named “Burning Rescue Soul”, which takes design inspiration from Galo Thymos from PROMARE.

Notably, Ai donned an outfit that drew inspiration from Galo’s mecha design while also wearing the iconic red pants.

The horns on Ai’s head are also designed to resemble the alarm lamps of the first form of Galo’s mecha and his role as a firefighter.

The other collab outfit, Born in Flames, is for Herrscher of Flamescion Kiana Kaslana, featuring a punk design inspired by the character Lio Fotia from PROMARE.

The style and color scheme of Born in Flames, along with her bow tie and cyan accents on her greatsword, draw heavy inspiration from Lio.

Moreover, Kiana’s distinctive cape fuses her fiery attributes with the angular and vivid flames reminiscent of PROMARE’s animation style.

Both outfits, Burning Rescue Soul and Born in Flames, will be available in the Outfit Shop with limited-time discounts during the collaboration event.

In addition to the outfits, there will also be a limited-time event where players can complete missions to earn PROMARE Kindlings for a bingo card-flipping minigame to win the collab stigma PROMARE: Flame (B) and other rewards.

Story Update & Events

The 6.9 version update will also continue the story with Chapter XL Seven Karma Phala, following Fu Hua in a new city called Phosphorus.

While exploring the story, players will be able to play Fu Hua in 3 different battlesuit modes, each has their own DMG type and unique exploration skill to help swiftly uncover pivotal clues in the main plot.

Furthermore, the upcoming summer event will mark the climax of the Captain’s storyline, serving as the final chapter.

The enchanting narrative of the Magic Girl continues to unveil a grander scheme at play where all clues currently point to Theresa, codenamed Luna.

Players can follow the event to find out more about the truth while experiencing chibi-style maps that offer various adventures, challenges, and plenty of different exploration mechanics that drop bountiful rewards.
