The official video game adaptation of the highly-regarded mythical martial arts franchise Hitori No Shita: The Outcast will launch on mobile devices! Today’s debut trailer showcases the distinct art style, exhilarating fight animations, kinetic combat system, and captivating Inhuman World players can explore.
Hitori no Shita: The Outcast is a Chinese webcomic from 2015 that saw an animated adaptation that presently has four seasons, the last having aired December 2021 before this mobile game announcement. If you’re wondering what the series is about, here’s a summary:
Cho Soran leads a normal college student’s life until he finds himself caught up in a horrible incident that happened in a small village. As he was walking through a graveyard, Cho Soran is attacked by zombies. Thinking that it was over for him, a mysterious girl wielding a sword suddenly saves him and vanishes. This strange encounter is going to drastically change the fate of our hero.
The 6 1/2 minute trailer showcases some fairly dynamic camerawork and impressive animation quality. The left side looks to be the virtual joystick, while the right has various buttons for skills and the actions you can take. There’s no mention of a release date, but the trailer does have both Chinese and English subs, so perhaps we can expect a global release.
