Rogue Factor and publisher Nacon announced that Hell Is Us has been optimized since its demo showcase. The developers focused on improving performance across a wider range of hardware, and they have now shared the updated PC system requirements. The game will launch worldwide on September 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Gameplay and Premise

In Hell Is Us, players step into the role of Rémi, a former ON Peacekeeper who abandons his post. He journeys into the war-torn country of Hadea in search of his parents, but soon encounters supernatural creatures known as Hollow Walkers. These beings emerged after a catastrophic event called the Calamity.

Combat emphasizes melee weapons such as swords, axes, and polearms, each with distinct attack styles and speeds. In addition, Rémi carries a tactical drone that can distract enemies during battle. Unlike many modern action-adventure games, Hell Is Us removes map markers, waypoints, and quest logs. Therefore, players must rely on environmental cues and conversations with NPCs to track objectives.
