SEGA and Colorful Palette have officially announced a limited-time collaboration between Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! feat. Hatsune Miku and Persona 5 Royal. The event was revealed during the Project SEKAI Broadcasting #22 livestream and will run in Japan from August 4 to August 13, 2025.
Fans of both franchises can expect fresh tracks, themed costumes, and exclusive in-game missions during this special crossover.
“Life Will Change” Joins the Playlist
At the heart of the collaboration is one of Persona 5 Royal’s most iconic tracks—“Life Will Change”. This track will be available in Project SEKAI as a playable song, delivered through a Virtual Singer version featuring Hatsune Miku and friends.
The acid-jazz inspired anthem is set to make an energetic splash in the rhythm game’s library, blending seamlessly with SEKAI’s vibrant musical world.
Exclusive Outfits and Gacha
A new limited-time in-game gacha will allow players to pull for Phantom Thief-inspired costumes, including a special look for Miku dressed as Kasumi and KAITO as Joker, the leader of the Phantom Thieves. These cosmetics let SEKAI’s cast channel the rebellious flair of Shibuya’s masked vigilantes.
Players can expect these outfits to add unique style and Persona 5 flavor to their lineup during the event period.
Stamps, Missions, and More
To further enhance the crossover experience, the event will introduce stamp missions and custom profile items, giving players new rewards to collect and ways to express their fandom throughout the collaboration period.
This marks the second official crossover between Hatsune Miku and the Persona franchise. She previously appeared as a guest character in Persona 4: Dancing All Night as a DLC addition.
