Labyrinth Warriors is the “rogue-lite” event in Genshin Impact, where players will navigate several rooms and obtain random buffs to make their way through to the end of the floors.
UNLOCKING THE EVENT
You will need to be Adventure Rank 30 and have completed Archon Quest “Chapter II: Act III – Omnipresence Over Mortals” to obtain the A Tricky Situation quest. Speak with Inazuma Katheryne and continue the dialogue. You’ll eventually meet up with Xinyan and Mr Worldwide as you try out the dungeon for the first time.
GENERAL TIPS
Your Combat party line-up will be your first 4 units on the field. You will only be able to swap to your reserve units in the Support team at Curative Emplacements, which are also the rooms where you can heal your party. The heal is only usable ONCE, but you can always return to change your team members if needed.
As you gain event currency, you can upgrade your Charm Magic. The initial phase will not allow you to fully upgrade all of them.
To help you on your way, you may bring with you limited use Shikifuda, with 3 of each to start. When you use them, it will bring up a menu in combat, pausing it, so that you can take your time selecting the one you need.
In the labyrinth itself, you can also select a variety of buffs to make it go smoother. However, you may also get Curses that will inflict debuffs on the party. Choose the buff that best suits your line-up. These buffs can help in Exploration, Characters or Shikifuda. Later, you may also re-draw your options.
You will always know where the boss room is, so you can either make a straight run there or take your time exploring. There may be traps lining the corridors, but you can also find random chests. These chests contain can contain some Wits and a low rarity artifact if you need some EXP fodder. The smokey tiles can either inflict a Curse or be a damaging tile that will knock you back. For the latter, a Shield e.g. like Zhongli’s, will prevent both damage and knockback.
The map screen can also help you double check what buffs or curses you have. To help in exploration, you can also find these orbs for temporary speed or attack boosts, or for healing.
There’s no reason not to pick the Dire challenge unless your party is not sufficiently levelled for it, just for the chance for better buffs.
