A selection of giant monsters and heroes will be open to you, with inspiration drawn from your childhood Godzilla and Ultraman films. The landscape will bow to your frenzy as you march and obliterate anything in your path to supremacy. Get creative with the environment! Your fury, fists and anything around you can be used. Throw from cars to an entire skyscraper at your foes! Fuel your rampage and unleash your true potential by transforming into your S-Class form! Play it casually or competitively with friends and family on the couch.

Mel Law, as co-director describes GigaBash as such:

Our goal is to create a game that is easy to pick up but also has enough depth for more competitive players to enjoy. We want players of varying skill levels to play together and have fun, so our control scheme is geared towards more simple, one-button executions, but with contextual variants depending on what you’re doing. So you get a different attack depending on if you’re blocking, or in mid-air, or grabbing someone, etc.

The design decisions and the joy of destruction has gotten GigaBash winning the Indie Prize Award and several other Indie Prize nominations from 4Gamer and Famitsu.
