To most people in the Vtuber community, they would tend to relate Hololive with cute anime girls who stream and entertain; but to us, the true face of Hololive is none other than the CEO of COVER Corporation – Motoaki Tanigo, or better known as YAGOO in the community.

Despite not being an anime girl, the Hololive community still loves and respect Tanigo, even to the point of referring him as “Best Girl”. With that being said, what made him to garner up such a reputation within the Hololive community?

Going through the history of how Motoaki Tanigo came to be as the CEO of COVER Corporation, he had previous experiences in the game industry, the VR & AR industry as well as starting up companies during his time. But after the founding of COVER Corporation, his reputation grew larger and had inevitably became the face of Hololive when having 2D anime girls appear in events isn’t as feasible.
