Light novel series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was previously reported to be getting an anime adaptation. We have now gotten a trailer for it, in addition to the announcement that it will be getting the mobile game treatment as well!
Written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was first serialised online in 2013 before being commercialised by MicroMagazine since 2014. The series got a manga in 2015. The anime will be director by Kikuchi Yasuhito, with 8bit studio overseeing animation production. The show is scheduled to air in autumn 2018.
The game will be a mobile RPG spin-off entitled That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Lord of Tempest. KICK-ASS and Gamegate will be working on the project. Further details will be announced during AnimeJapan 2018 taking place between 24 March 2018 and 25 March 2018.
