First 4 Figures has announced the new Dark Magician statue from Yu Gi Oh, adding to their line of statues from the anime series.

The statues are available for preorder now, with a deluxe “Definitive”  version and a normal “Exclusive” version with varying levels of effects and detail. On top of that there’s a normal release that’s identical to the Exclusive Edition sans lighting effects, but that doesn’t appear to be available for preorder.

The standard “Exclusive Edition” statue costs USD 154.99 (MYR 655.13) , and comes in two colors- the anime-accurate Purple or the card-accurate Blue. Additionally, you can get both as part of the “Exclusive Edition Combo” for USD 274.99 (MYR 1163.07).

The Exclusive Edition also features LED effects in the summoning circle behind Dark Magician, as well as glow-in-the-dark orbs on the Dark Magician’s Magician’s Rod.

Similarly, you can get the deluxe Definitive statues for USD 364.99 (MYR 1543.79), in either blue or purple. Completionists can also get the Definitive Combo Edition which includes both, for USD 699.99 (MYR 2960.61).

Similar to the previously announced Blue Eyes White Dragon statues, the First 4 Figures Dark Magician statues’ Definitive Editions feature the character hovering over the stone tablet, along with light-up level stars at the base. It also includes additional effect pieces, simulating the Dark Magician’s signature attack.

Dark Magician is the signature monster of Yugi and the Pharaoh Atem, protagonists of the original Yu Gi Oh anime. Based on the spirit of the Pharaoh’s servant, the monster appears in all the iterations of Yugi’s deck, and gets an updated redesign in Yu Gi Oh! Dark Side of the Dimensions.
