The Taipei Game Show Indie Game Award for 2021 featured 36 countries with 144 games, with the finalists at last revealed! The Award is meant to recognize outstanding indie game developers from around the world, having received a total of 692 titles over the years since its inception in 2015. These titles have included “Old Man’s Journey”, developed by Broken Rules Interactive Media from Austria, “RPG TIME：The Legend of Wright”, developed by DESKWORKS from Japan, “The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters” and “Replica”, developed by Devespresso Games and Somi from Korea. Indie Game Award wishes to deliver a stage for talented indie game developers to thrive and shine, and create a platform exclusively for indie game developers to exchange insights.
30 games with developers from 17 countries are running for the grand prize for the Taipei Game Show Indie Game Award 2021. Games from Denmark/Israel/Peru/Netherland/Germany see their first time nominations as finalists this year too. Winning titles will be announced before Taipei Game Show 2021.
