Fans of the RPG genre can now look forward to a new addition to the genre, as Fighting Fantasy Legends has just made its way to the Android and iOS platforms.

Based on three classic gamebooks namely Citadel of Chaos, City of Thieves and The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, the game is essentially a narrative RPG which combines a choice-oriented campaign with a dice-rolling combat system. As you travel through the game world otherwise known as Allansia, you will have to complete dangerous quests while fighting foes along the way.

There is of course some strategy involved when playing the game, despite the seemingly random aspect of the dice mechanic. While luck does play a role, victory is largely dependent on your choices, your class, and your equipment. The game is a paid title, but for what it offers for RPG fans, Fighting Fantasy Legends is definitely worth its asking price. If you are the type to enjoy planning out your adventure, this is for you. If you want something more hack and slashy, you best stay away.
