LEVEL-5 has confirmed that FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time has surpassed 1.5 million units sold worldwide. This milestone was reached just over seven months after the game’s release. The achievement highlights the title’s strong performance and steady demand across global markets.
The slow-life RPG first launched worldwide on May 21, 2025. It was released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Shortly after, the game expanded to Switch 2 on June 5. As a result, the title quickly reached a broad audience across both console and PC platforms.
Strong Early Sales and Continued Momentum

From the start, FANTASY LIFE i showed impressive commercial momentum. Within its first two days, the game sold 500,000 copies worldwide. Just ten days later, total sales had already reached 800,000 units. Shortly after, the game crossed the one million mark by June 12, less than a month after launch.
Sales growth continued throughout the following months. By July 7, total sales reached 1.2 million units. Then, by September 25, the figure rose again to 1.4 million. Now, with sales surpassing 1.5 million, the game has proven its ability to maintain interest well beyond its launch window.
This steady growth suggests that player recommendations and post-launch support played a key role. Additionally, the game’s relaxed pacing and accessible RPG systems appealed to a wide range of players.
Major Free Update Expands Gameplay

Meanwhile, LEVEL-5 continues to support the game with new content. On December 24, the publisher released a major free update titled “The Sinister Broker Bazario’s Schemes.” This update introduced a brand-new roguelike-style game mode.
In this mode, each run offers different rewards and challenges. Importantly, progress earned can be carried back into the main game. As a result, players are encouraged to replay the mode and experiment with new strategies. This addition significantly increases replay value and long-term engagement.
A Strong Result for LEVEL-5

Overall, surpassing 1.5 million units marks a significant success for LEVEL-5. The game’s consistent sales growth reflects effective post-launch planning and strong player reception. Moreover, ongoing updates help ensure continued relevance moving into 2026.
With its mix of life simulation and RPG mechanics, FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time has firmly established itself as one of the publisher’s most successful recent releases.
