The dust has settled at the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025, and we had the incredible opportunity to sit down with the newly crowned Master Duel World Champions, Team Ragnarok. What started as an intense testing session between friends has culminated in the ultimate prize – a world championship title that seemed almost destined to happen.
We managed to interview Antonio Papa (N3sh) shortly after their victory, still buzzing with excitement from what he called “the coronation of a dream.” While the full team couldn’t join us for the interview, N3sh was more than happy to share the journey that led to this historic moment.
The Champion’s Journey
Antonio Papa, known in the community as N3sh, brought his Snake-Eye/Memento deck to victory alongside teammates Herman Hansson (Mist) with Ryzeal/Ritual Beast and Luka Forjan (Luka) running Maliss/Mermail. This team formation was the result of dedicated preparation and shared testing sessions.
“Me, PAK, Joey, Enzo — we all tested together with Herman Hansson and Luka Forjan for this event,” N3sh explained. “Actually, the fact that all the people who tested together went to the final was insane, and being in the final with PAK — that’s literally the reason why I’m in this game.”

When asked about how it felt to win, N3sh described the experience: “It felt so amazing, it’s like the coronation of a dream. I don’t know, it’s undescribable. It’s like an internal feeling that rises up and screams inside of me.”
What’s Next for the Champions
With the title now in their hands, Team Ragnarok has plans that mix celebration with continued competition. When asked about their future plans, N3sh shared: “Next is going to Japan, living in the beautiful city, maybe eating there, and then winning probably another one — and going back to the past World Championship to win all the timelines.”

A Message to the Community
Perhaps the most inspiring part of our conversation came when N3sh shared his advice for aspiring champions. His message was simple but powerful, focusing on the human element that often gets overlooked in competitive gaming.
“If you guys are playing this game, if you guys want to succeed in this game, you need to find someone that shares your passion,” he emphasized. “Because it’s all about passion. It’s all about the time invested with your friends. Remember that there is always space to make this game even greater than it is right now.”

But N3sh didn’t stop there. In true champion fashion, he issued a direct challenge to the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! community: “And I want you guys to come here and challenge us to win, because I’m waiting for you — whoever you are.”
