Idea Factory and Compile Heart has recently announced a new game for mobile phones, Eshigami no Kizuna (Bonds of the Artist Gods) will be released next year in Japan from Sony’s subsidiary company ForwardWorks. Currently there are not much details of the game released as it is still under production.
The game is a collaboration with Tezuka Productions, the ones that brought us Astro Boy, which will feature illustrations from Compile Heart’sillustrator Tsunako (Neptunia series), Katsuyuki Hirano (Moero Crystal, Agarest War series), and Dakei Nanamei (Trillion: God of Destruction).
For all we know, the only clue we have of what the game is about is from their story tagline; “Artists borrow the power of ‘god’ and battle their ‘deadlines’!”
An illustration of one of the characters by Tsunako:
An elite Society agent and contractor of the seal weapon Embrasque, Beatrix's ferocity when facing primal beasts is rivaled only by her insatiable hunger for glory.
Eustace
Earthrending Thunder
An elite Society marksman and contractor of the seal weapon Flamek Thunder, Eustace is efficient, laconic, and longs to live in a world of peace and quiet.
Fraux
Striking Strength
Pactbearer to The Devil, a primal seeking to create a new world order, Fraux is otherwise an ordinary skydweller whose heart, character, and temperament are filled with love and compassion.
Fediel
Darkness Personified
One of the Six Dragons, entities who exist beyond the confines of the natural world. Having dominion over darkness, she influences the very laws of nature.
