EA and Origin Access Updates With MORE FREE GAMES!

The Electronic Arts Access (EA Access) was launched back in August 2014 for the Xbox One as a subscription service with a couple of free games. Since then, the platform has included dozens of games along with the launch of Origin Access for the PC.

The list of games have been updated over the years and EA has no intention of removing any games that they have included in EA and Origin Access. In a statement by Peter Moore, he said “I think one of the key things is that once a game goes into the Vault it stays there, it’s not going to be taken out, that’s a commitment we’ve made.”

Currently there’s no version of EA Access available for the PlayStation 4. Though the PlayStation 4 has the PlayStation Plus subscription which is pretty similar to the EA Access, EA has raised the bar for their competitors out there with permanent free games on their list. That being said, Sony is open to having a dialogue with EA to bring EA Access to the PS4 as well in the future.

For those who would like to know more about EA or Origin Access, a subscription fee of $5 per month or $30 per month is incurred upon subscription. EA or Origin Access members will have access to all the games in the list for free and some upcoming new games ahead of launch with a 5-day headstart. Other than that, subscribers will also be able to save 10% on all EA digital content as well.
